We are 100% happy with our basement renovations done by The Renovators. We did not know of them before we booked them. We found them online and had at least 2 other quotes before we contacted them. We emailed them for a quote and the first contact from them was prompt, courteous and professional and future communications were as well. We had almost decided not to do the basement because the previous quotes were too high but they were willing to work within our budget and the job was completed on budget and on time. We asked for and received multiple names and contacts for references. We emailed at least 3 references and they were all excellent. Once we agreed to work with them, the scope of work was clearly outlined. They did as we asked and did not try to “upsell” on anything. We had regular communication by email with Lisa throughout the process. Lisa was prompt to answer any questions we had and her communication was clear and professional. The crew who worked in our home were prompt, courteous, cleaned up every day, answered any questions we had, and let us know at the end of each day when they would be in the next day and what they would be doing next. Lisa and the crew made it clear to us our deadlines such as when we had to choose paint colours, when to have our flooring ready, and Lisa kept us informed when our payments were due. We chose to make some changes during the work and they had no problems adjusting the quote and still got the work done on schedule and on budget. The finished basement exceeded our expectations! We are so happy with how it turned out. If we have work to do in the future, we will be contacting The Renovators and we will recommend them to anyone we know that needs work done. It is clear that they really want to provide excellent customer service and satisfaction and are willing to customize each job to make it work for the customer.
